Proposals due October 31st

Since 1999, we have awarded small grants to 120 grassroots groups promoting a plant-based diet in the US and 28 other countries. The Fund honors the memory of FARM President Alex Hershaft's mother, Sabina. To apply, please visit the Proposal Guidelines.

We have been blown away by the results.

The $500-1,000 grants have produced amazing efforts by creative, dedicated folks who donate their time, talent, and tenacity and require only minimal seed grants to get started. Some of these projects are described and illustrated below.

Please join us in this rewarding adventure!

We have just received two dozen new proposals, and we would like to fulfill most of their dreams. But we can no longer do it without your help.

If you choose to sponsor a group's project with a donation of $500 or more, we will send you the group's proposal and subsequent report with photos. We will gratefully receive and pool smaller contributions to provide additional grants.

To contribute, visit our donate form and designate the Sabina Fund.
